Course Overview
ITEC 1022 – HTML5 and CSS3 covered the basics of how a website is laid out as well as common website practices. It covered a lot of HTML5 and CSS3 as well as some very basic JavaScript. It gave many examples and practices of HTML as well as CSS. It taught the basics and a bit in depth of how to make a website and how to use HTML and CSS effectively. It also covered how to make websites more accessible and who to think about when making and designing a website.
Course Reflection
This taught me how to use HTML and CSS to design and create websites. I have now made many pages in HTML and have the skills to design and edit them as well. I can understand and edit CSS as well and be able to use it to design pages. In a professional world this allows me to edit and make HTML pages and CSS pages. I can design web pages and publish them as well.
